FAQ
Straight answers.
Why only two seats per cycle?
Because the model is depth, not volume. Past engagements have run 50–96 hours of genuinely senior attention; that doesn't scale past two applicants alongside the standards I hold. Scarcity here isn't marketing — it's arithmetic.
Do you guarantee admission?
No, and you should walk away from anyone who does. Admission is never the product of coaching alone. What I offer is a materially stronger application and honest odds at every decision point.
Why is async work billed the same as live calls?
Because it's the same judgment applied to your application — often with more impact. Deep rewrites, consistency checks across documents, recommender briefings, and school research happen between calls. Unequal rates would push you to overuse the cheaper channel and get a worse outcome.
How fast do you turn work around?
Within 24 hours as standard, and faster in deadline weeks — when it matters most, momentum is part of the service.
Will you write my essays for me?
No. I will diagnose, outline, restructure, and edit deeply — and when a draft isn't viable I'll show you why and how to rebuild it. I will never tell a story we aren't both comfortable with. What I will do is help you dramatically rethink your journey and your decisions — which you probably made without fully understanding how they connect. The voice, the stories, and the final words are always yours. That's both an ethical line and a strategic one: committees can tell.
What if my profile has more than one gap?
One meaningful gap — a low GPA, an uneven score, a nonlinear path — is my specialty: that's exactly what a well-built story can mitigate. Stacked gaps are harder, and I'll tell you honestly whether the story can carry them. And one thing I won't sugarcoat: if both your GPA and your test quant are weak, no narrative fully fixes that. We fix the score first.
Can I hire you just for the GMAT or GRE?
Occasionally, capacity permitting — test coaching from a 770 scorer, usually integrated with admissions strategy since retake and score-positioning decisions shape your school list.
How many schools should I apply to?
It depends on your risk profile — I've coached a deliberate one-school campaign and a nine-school campaign, and both were right for that client. Portfolio construction is one of the first things the diagnostic answers.
What does it cost?
See Services & Pricing — rates are published, packages are transparent, and the $600 diagnostic is the low-commitment way to start.
